A day shopping and Benefit

So as its summer, we all love to go out and about whilst the sun is still shining. So that's what I did eventually however I encountered a surprise whilst shopping I was able to try some of the benefit cosmetic range. From the makeup remover to sunbeam.

I knew about the brand but never got the chance to try any products, the product I loved the most was the hello flawless foundation, the colour matched my skin and didn't oxidize when applying till minutes later, the finish of the foundation was dewy which normally I don't go for due to my skin being combination but it didn't make it really oily after pondering.

The mascara

The blusher used was Bella bamba which when looking at the colour was a bright pink but when applied just suited my comlextion, and came to love. The highlighter used was sun beam, applied to the lower eyebrow area, the under eye bone and cheek bone and finally a bronzer was a to the temples, lower cheek bone area and the chin and gave the illusion that I had a tan which in fact I didn't due to the late summer were having.

I do love the benefit range, especially if your able to get the advice of the benefit beauties in a store, as you have an idea of what products could potentially work on your skin and get the chance to apply them correctly.

Basic: Face Type

Many of us could be buying the wrong products for our face due to the fact that we don't know how face type, there are so many ways to determine this, when go to the counter of clarins to c they will ask whether your face dry, oily or combination when out of the shower however due to the steam, water temp etc its different on a normal day when waking up and washing your face.
I find washing the face with warm water and letting the natural oils come through after half an hour determines your face type and this may change due to the climate or season but is a effective way to determine it.

The types are:
Combination - Parts of the face are a mixture of either dry, oily or normal
Dry - When the skin has dry areas but on the majority of the face
Oily - The skin has oils that are visible on most of the face
Normal - The skin has no dry ares or oily parts.

If you have acne prone skin its likely you have combination skin and need a face wash with salacilic acid to help prevent the acne and those that exisicts too.

I really hope this helps as there is confusion especially of those who are beginners to this.

A beginner to makeup, really?‏

Thinking about it who is really a beginner to makeup, I guess we all are, I understand you may be asking how, well we learn new things each day whether we take it or leave it is our decision however every year, month, week or day we see adverts for new product and we must experiment to see whether they suit us or not. What I'm saying is that our tastes change whether we choose to or not.
